Is Charlie Cox Appearing Reappearing in the MCU?

Charlie Cox has portrayed the beloved Marvel character on Netflix and quite famously so. It's also been vividly stated that the show exists in the MCU with lots of Easter eggs and references nicely placed here and there. Sadly, the show lasted for three seasons and it sort of ended on a cliffhanger. Netflix pulled the plug on the series and shortly after that, Kevin Feige who's the head of Marvel Studios and everything related to Marvel, took control.

In a recent interview with ComicBook.com, Charlie Cox stated that he doesn't believe that he'd be reprising his role as Matt Murdock aka Daredevil in the MCU anymore SPECIFICALLY not in Spider-Man 3. First of all, he doesn't believe the rumors to be true of possible appearance of Daredevil in the third installment of Tom Holland-starrer flick but if it is happening then it is not with his version of the character.

"I hadn't heard the rumors, but it's certainly not with my Daredevil. If that's true, it's not with me. It's with another actor."

Well, if you ask me I was pretty bummed to hear that like most fans out there but let's look it this way: If he is set to be appearing alongside Tom Holland, why on earth would he give up that detail to the public. I mean you know it's Marvel, right? They LOVE keeping their secrets up to the last minute.
Now that Spider-Man 3 has been pushed to Nov 2021, we can hold out hope that when the filming starts - presumably in Nov of this year - Marvel might get the rights back of Daredevil from Netflix and they could include him in the movie as Peter Parker's lawyer. That would be fitting as HECK!
So, let's not jump to any conclusions unless we get an official word because actors, especially the ones who are associated with Marvel, they are bound to say things to swerve people's attention from spoiling content.

Anyway, we know one thing for sure that Cox would be THRILLED to come back as Daredevil and he wouldn't turn down the role; and Marvel would be crazy not to bring him back because yeah, he's perfect!
