The New Mutants... MCU?? Yes, Please!

Should This Fox Marvel Movie Be a Part of the MCU?

Okay, so we have to talk about this. Since this blogging thing is my own soliloquy of "fandomness" for MCU, so I'll be speaking my heart out most of the time. Expressing out loud to say things that I wanna say.
Alright, so let's begin.

Today's topic is gonna be related to a movie that I and a lot of people have been anxiously waiting for, for about 2 years now. Ya'll know what I'm talking about. The New Mutants hasn't seen the light of day as of the writing of this post and I'm really bummed about it. Why? Well, mainly because it's Marvel, duh. But the sub-genre of this superhero genre is something that I don't think we've seen before: Horror. I can't wait to see what Josh Boone and his team have gotten in store for this movie but yeah the cast itself, I was sold.

The thing is, as much as I want this movie to see the light of day, I want that with a twist.  It has been delayed indefinitely for the third time now. So, when the movie finally releases they should do it with a BANG! By making this a vital part of the MCU. Yes. I mean, come on, it's been so long and the only thing that could potentially make the audience (most part of the audience, at least) hooked to it just because if it's a part of the already established ongoing universe.

Let me enlist the reasons for retconning this movie into the MCU:

• The movie is pretty much self-contained according to the director and therefore, wouldn't have any connections to the Singer's X-Men universe. There were plans but ultimately scrapped, which I'm happy with actually. So, retconning would be fairly easy since we know what the synopsis is going to be about. Fairly self-contained. All they need is a Fury-esque type cameo.
• If included, this movie would be the one introducing mutants in the MCU. The word 'new' in the title would suggest that these kids are the "new" versions of the race; the old version, we still have no idea if there are any. But of course, there are. That would be the twist!
• Not just there would be an addition of some badass characters as a team in the MCU, but also the talented cast would bring quite a lot to the table. All of them, new faces. New actors. New characters. Best!

So, fingers crossed! I really hope they do something good with this property and as for speaking for myself, I would LOVE to see them joining the MCU. This cast looks amazing.
